Claim-first, not story-first
Every article is decomposed into atomic, checkable claims. A headline is never treated as evidence.
Lineage over volume
Twenty outlets repeating one press release is one source. We trace every hop back to the origin.
Adversarial by design
A dedicated sceptic agent argues against every claim before it can be marked PROOFED.
Show the receipts
Each verdict ships with a proof score, the evidence that produced it, and the gaps that remain.
Politically neutral
We verify factual assertions. We do not adjudicate opinion, ideology or party positions.
Humans on the hard calls
Named suspects, children, deaths, active proceedings and national security escalate to human review.
What we will not do

Corrections & the ledger
Every verification run is written to an immutable proof ledger. When evidence changes, the verdict changes in public — the previous state remains visible, with the reason it was superseded. Nothing is quietly rewritten.
